Let me tell you a bit about myself:
When I was younger my sister and I used to spend our summers out in the garden making "pies" and "soup" out of leaves, twigs, mud and water. We were the kind of girls who caught frogs and bugs and tried to keep them as pets. In short we weren't girly girls and I count this as a blessing.
School was an interesting experience for me. Primary school brought bullying and secondary brought an early onset of relationships. I was stupid in these relationships and because of that I came out the other side badly wounded in the emotional department. Despite this I enjoyed most subjects especially English. I can pinpoint the very moment I began writing. I was thirteen.
I passed my GCSEs without a problem and moved onto college. College brought my second big relationship and many friendships of which only one has withstood time. I am, by nature, fairly anti-social. Though I do make friends easily (or so I'm told), it takes a lot for the relationship to stick around in my world.
College was fairly uneventful, I passed. I guess that's all you need to know.
I've just finished my degree in Creative Writing and consider it a good investment in my personal development as a writer. I wonder what I'll do now that I'm done, but there's plenty of time to think about that later on.
I see myself as a creative person. I take part in many crafts that change on a whim. Writing is my passion because it is the only one I'll do all the time. The others (sewing, painting, drawing) phase in and out.
My imagination brings bright and crazy dreams. When I'm stressed they're often nightmares.
My favourite colour is red and my favourite animal is the elephant.
My desk is a place of great importance to me. It is covered in knick-knacks, but they have to be in order all the time. I use coasters and am a bit obsessive about that at times.
I am the proud owner of three guinea pigs (Thor, Clover and Cinnamon), two budgies (Beaky and Skye), and numerous fish of which three are male fighting fish (Ivory, Poseidon and Alfus).
I'm a morning person and am often up before seven am.
